The Homestead Market was built in 2022 in order to provide an on-farm experience for our patrons. Offering fresh produce, home décor, flowers, u-pick experiences, and much more! Anything from local meat to homemade soaps and everything in between! Offering one of the most unique experiences on the Eastern Shore! Stop by and see us! Open Mid April- October, 6 Days a week!

We are a fresh market fruit and vegetable farm located in Seaford, DE. We sell our products through our retail farm stand and we also offer wholesale produce to several grocery stores and restaurants on the Delmarva peninsula. We have been in business since 2013 and have grown from approx 1 acre of produce production in 2013 to approximately 35 acres of produce production and 70 acres of grain production in 2024. We take pride in growing quality produce and delivering great customer service to our community!

We open the mobile produce stand the Friday before Memorial Day and remain open 7 days a week through Labor Day! We offer local produce and seasonal produce from our southern states early in the season, with everything becoming local by the middle of July! Our stand is located at 22880 Sussex Hwy. Seaford, DE, at the end of the lot in the Lowe’s shopping center, directly behind the Walgreens.
Open 7 days a week- Mon.-Sat.: 9-6, Sunday- 10-6.

This business was started as a way for the owner/founder Shane Marvel, to pay for college. 11 years later this farm now operates to support his family- wife: Cassidy, daughter: Mia, and son: Milo.
